I'm using the lastest ATI driver, i have tried reducing the details to low for everything, and that didn't work. I have a Geforce 256, and it didn't have a single problem. i have 512 mb ram, Windows XP, Soyo Dragon motherboard. Anyone having the same problem?

Thanks.

I have the latest update 1.05 for warcraft 3

Did you correctly remove all traces of your GeForce before you put your Radeon card into the system?
Any overclocks?
Any background programs running?
Do you have the latest BIOS and chipset drivers for your system?

is this your first time playing, Warcarft 3 on your Radeon sytem? or it work fine before but now it doesn't.
Is your system overclocked in anyway??
when does it reboot, when you start the game?, 10min,, 20min, 30min??
Try seting it to 16bit and see if that'll last longer before you reboot.
Maybe it's youre power supply not giving enough power to the Radeon card.

Nope, it has always been like this.
Nope...not overclocked
Rebooting is random, can be 5 mins, can be 20 mins, and rarely goes beyond 30 mins.
I have an antec 400w power supply, but i have 3 harddrive, 1 cdrom, 2 writers, floppy drive, 2 80mm fans ,1 video card, thats it. You may be right about the power supply.

There are 2 machines...
Are they indentical system running the game at identical settings?

Try turning off 3D sound in Warcraft III and use Miles Emulated sound instead.

The machine the Radeon is in, what Processor/Chipset is it? Is it possible that you haven't got the latest drivers for the motherboard chipset?

BTW, Comparing System A, which has different parts from System B, and complaining that one has problems and the other doesn't isn't really a useful thing. If they are both identically configured, then it might prove useful.

I'd look at the chipset on the Radeon's system as a likely culprit, as anything causing a reboot is often incompatibilities/misconfiguration at the motherboard level, and can generally be fixed with anything from a BIOS flash to a different motherboard (at least, in my experience).

If this is something you can rule out, have you tried using OpenGL mode instead of DirectX mode? You can do so by editing your link to Warcraft III to read: ["c:\path\to\warcraft III\wc.exe" -openGL] (without square brackets). If you are using OpenGL mode, try disabling that and using DirectX.

Finally, if none of the above turns up anything, try Blizzard's Support Site and see what they have to say on the matter.
