Reboot when I access display settings

Put a Win 2k Pro machine on a new monitor which wasn't capable of displaying the screen res. So booted in to safe mode swaped it back to vga and rebooted.

Now when ever I click display propeties and go to settings the machine reboots.

Any ideas???

Does anybody know where the display settings are stored?? Are they in the registry??

Basicly if I can just get the thing off 640x480 I'd be happy.

Try dumping your monitor driver out of the device manager and rebooting and letting windows reinstall a driver (might work)
