My computer rebooted all by it's self last week and now it just did it again today. Both times it rebooted I had just gotten done burning DVD's (ND-3520a is my DVD burner). I did burn a few DVD's a few days ago and my system did not reboot. Any ideas on what would cause this? According to SpeedFan my CPU idles 35ºc and when I'm running Roxio burning a DVD my temp reaches 55ºc, is this a normal temp change for this program? I'm running a Zalman 7000B-ALCu CPU Cooler and I run it at max RPM (2400RPM) when I'm doing anything that causes the temp to reach 40ºc. Typing this right now the temp is 38ºc. I used the thermal grease that came with the zalman but, I do have some AS-5 coming and when I put in my new video card in I will put the AS-5 on it.

I upgraded to a new CPU and memory two weeks ago and I have reinstalled windows XP pro. Heres my system specs....

Is there any indication of an error in your event viewer?

Start, Run, eventvwr

Check System and application for errors at or about the time of the reboots.

Ron, thanks. I didn't know I could do anything like that. The easy media creator program seems like it might be the culprit. I just installed it and there was no problems on my old hard drive so, I'm not to sure how to fix this, have some reading to do. It's easy media creator 7.5. So, my temps are fine, nothing to worry about there? Heres the only error I could find.

Have you considered Nero?
I like version 6 better than the new one, and it seems to be super stable, especially compared to Roxio.

Glad to help,
Ron
