I started having some BSODs and reboots not long after installing the 3.8 catalysts. I've done the fixes I could find with Google, and although the problem seems diminished it still happens. I'm concerned it may be a hardware failure since I've had several reboots while reinstalling or fresh installing XP. The reboots occur when I'm installing or registering components. I always get the second error if I try to run TiVo with the 9700 AIW (usually as soon as I start it). I've tried ATI, but since I'm not under warranty any longer they're slow to respond. I've tried turning off system restore, fast writes, etc., but nothing seems to work. I've also tried selective device loads. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
