"reboot" on boot

Hi guys, just got my system up and running again but i am experiencing this weird problem. Whenever i boot up right before it hits the Win XP loading screen it does a small boot, you can just hear the hdd, switching off and then quickly back on. Its highly frustrating and annoying, and it cant be good for the hdd in the long run. Any suggestions?

Could it have something to do with the onboard raid, sata drivers? Im using a WD 120GB Caviar disk. No Sata or raid...

I had the same problem and I went into the case and checked all connections and it seemed to fix it, then I went to CPL and just got back a few days ago and its happening again.

something is most likely loose (reset button wire etc)

check all the little connections in your system.
