Reboot during setup

When trying to reinstall XP, system will start loading the initial setup files until it gets to ntfs. Then it automatically reboots. Thought it might be a PS but this did not help. Tried a new HD with no help also. getting ready to try another MB. Any suggestions? This is a Biostar MB M7CD with 2500 AMD, 160GB Seagate. Thanks for the help

What brand / type of RAM are you using?
Have you tested it?
 
Spectek DDR333 256MB
I just installed the HD in another system and it is now working. Must be the ram or MB or CPU.
Any suggestions?
