looks like there were some fun times, what kind of glass do you have?

I have the default 18-55 lens that comes with the kit and I bought the 100-200 USM Canon lens as well...works really well...

no party action there. i was stuck on a tripod to secure that spot. 😛

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/pixelop/public_html/index.php on line 776

I actually saw it and then closed it and now see the parse error

She must have recently changed the code

Beginning of show

Fireworks 2

I think my next photographic purchase is going to be a tripod. I really need one.

A tripod is a good investment. I recently got a Rebel XT with the 18-55 kit lens. I bought a Canon 55-200 lens a week later. A few days ago a bought a Canon 100mm Macro lens. I'm waiting patiently for it to arrive.

This pic was taken on a tripod with the Rebel XT. The fireworks were 15.5 miles away. Ignore the annoying street light that was in my path. 😀

First attempt at taking firworks pics. Canon Digital Rebel XT, Canon EF 55-200mm @ 200mm manual focus, ISO 100 and f/5.6.

Nice pic .

And the streetlight isn't too bad. A little cropping would take it away.

I also got the kit lens, plus the 50mm lens. I think my next will be a telephoto.

What tripod do you recommend? I'm looking for something sturdy, but still somewhat portable.
