Rebates suck. never again.

i havent dealt with them for the longest time, but since i still have hotdeals in my batch startup i cant help but notice the sickening mess of rebates. there was a time when.. oh nevermind. a ban i say!

I'm not a fan of rebates either. It's just a way for companies to make interest off of your money!

Rebates are a great deal for most companies.

Lots of people get lured in by the low price, then never even send in the rebate.

I still say Best Buy etc. should offer third party rebates on site.
Like they buy the rebate from you for 90% of it's value or something, then get the money (at a reduced rate as well) from the original companies.
Or they could charge a nominal fee. I'd go for it

wheresmyrebate.com and all other rebate places say 6-8 weeks. they just told me today that it takes them 6-8 weeks to process you and 6 weeks for your check to come out.... wtf is this?
