Rebates question

Me, and my bro are getting new vidcards for our new PC builds. Problem is that the vidcard has a rebate....

"Limit one rebate per name/individual, household or address"
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/rebate/XFX_321020_083105.pdf

Does this refer to who actually bought it, or where the rebate is being sent to?

What if one of us bought both the vidcards, and had the rebates sent to a diff address under diff names?

And does the invoice name have to match the name of the person the rebate is being sent to?

To get the rebate without any hassle (if that's possible 🙂 ) You need to:

1.) Each buy the product, on different invoices.
2.) Have the rebates sent to different addresses.
3.) Have the reabates sent to different names.

This is often tough to do if you're doing it with your brother; best I can recommend is to have a friend buy one and pay him back, problem solved.

Well, one thing u missed...

What if the invoice addresses are the same, but everything else is different?

Also, it shouldnt matter WHERE the REBATE is being sent to right? (ok if it's diff from invoice)

Well I repeat: Your best bet is to have a friend buy and reimburse him.

Companies will happily find any reason to deny a rebate; this allows them to stay profitable. So the only way you're going to be safe is to have someone completely different buy it, and file for the rebate.

Yes, it's a pain, but that's the point!

have it sent to your parents work? or maybe not depending on the business that they are in..my dad and i play this game all the time

if you have a friend buy it, do you subtract out the rebate amount? or do you pay back the full amount, then risk the friend receiving a check in his name months after the deal and pocket it thinking its free money?
