PIC OF REBATE (it's not on Best Buy's website yet). When I went to BB today, it was on the price marker. Then it printed out when I paid

I just got mine no probs. Only drawback to my deal was that BB only had 1 left. It was an open box (discounted to $73) and didn't have the batteries in it. $6 for a pair of Energizer Nimh rechargables tho and it still can't be beat.

How are BB rebates anyway (am I opening a can o' worms asking that???)

I usually have not luck with deals like this. Best buy checks and says oh there is a rebate. Is this mouse $49 at Office Max out the door? Where is the $30 rebate? I do not see it at the best buy site or the logitech site.

Yep! $49.99 out the door @ OM. Bottom of page 4 of todays flyer. No rebates or anything.

You go in and buy it for the full 79.99. The rebate will print at the checkout counter. Then you go to your car and bring in the ad, but not the rebate, and say that you want to PM it. I think you might be able to avoid them knowing about the rebate that way.

the logitech mx line has been regarded as the best optical mouse for gaming (primarily FPSes). There are disputes over which isbest out of the three in the line, but this is definitely a good gaming mouse.


Edit: Would there be anyway for BEst Buy to refuse to accept the rebate? Since Best Buy apparently has an exclusive rebate on this mouse, 79.99 - 30MIR = $50 and that is equal to the OM price.
