Hey I'm having problems with the $90 Hitachi rebate. I bought the 180gb with a $90 and $20 rebate so I'm not sure why they're listing the drive as a 200gb on the tracking website. Must be some confusion. Anyways, could you provide me with the UPC number and the date of purchase as well as the offer # or whatever else is relevant. I would appreciate it greatly. Thanks!

The UPC on my rebate receipt is listed as 829686000193. Purchase must be made between 3/19/04 and 4/4/04. Must send in original UPC bar code and be postmarked on or before 4/18/04.

The box the hard drive comes in is labeled as a 200gb drive, but when you install and format the drive it shows up as 180gb.

That's just the way hard drives are. Formatting the hard drive will take a couple GBs away. My 160gb hard drive only shows 152gb so you get the idea. Thanks for the info though. I think it's too different from my offer which was a one day sale at Fry's but maybe it'll help.

After calling 888-214-9123 and providing the date of my purchase and the UPC number over the phone, they agreed to process my rebate and said I would get it within 4-6 weeks (fortunately I had made copies of both my original receipt and my rebate receipt so I was able to provide the above information when asked).

They did not ask that I re-submit anything, they just gave me a verbal approval over the phone. Hope this helps!

It helped :). They gave me the exact same verbal approval and said to expect a check in the form of a postcard (huh?) within 4-6 weeks. All I gave them was my name, address, the manufacturer name, and rebate amount...no UPC code or anything. A little fishy if you ask me but if the rebate comes, I'll be happy. Thanks yukoncornel

somehow its been a large enough problem that they've set up a page just for rebates. i just submitted a request. good thing i've been keeping records. im still waiting on my $15 from APC also.[/quote]

Yes, you get a computer-generated response to your rebate status submittal - and that's all! I've been trying this website now for almost 4 weeks - once a week. Nothing but a "Thank you for taking the time to inquire about your Buslink rebate. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response." email reply.

Can someone post the UPC Code, Model Number? I need to submit this form but I didn't make a copy (yeah I guess I was a little too cocky from getting all my BB rebates.) Thanks alot, I still haven't gotten the $40 like everyone else and want to get in on this list if they're actually gonna come through.

Does anyone by chance have a copy of the UPC from a Canon S530D printer? I sent in my original with my MIR and they denied. They don't have any record of mine so need it mailed/faxed in again. I usually *always* make a photo copy of mine, but somehow didn't seem to on this one.

I sent in a $30 rebate for Antec Sonata case, which I bought from Frys, in August 04. Called them in Dec 04 and they said they would reissue the check and it would arrive in a month. Called a month later and got the same explanation that the check was issued. I insisted that they reissue the check but they wouldn't. In Feb 05, I was told that they couldn't reissue the check and per their policy that I should go back to the merchant and the rebate from them. I basically gave up, but then in late Mar 05, I received the rebate check. The check stated it was issued in Dec 04, which was when I made my first inquiry. However, the void date on the check was in Feb 05. Now I have a check that's basically worth nothing. So I had the same problem as yourself and filed a BBB complaint, which still hasn't been resolved. I know another coworker that never received his rebate. It's more than just a coincidence that several people do not receive the $30 from Antec.

Still waiting on the 60 dollar rebate from the wd160hd I purchased from best buy on 3-21, it has been 8 weeks which the rebate form stated, I should get my rebate within 8 weeks, but I just called western digital and they said It has been received and I would have to wait up to another 6 weeks, 8 weeks is 8 weeks, this is getting real old, I talked to the supervisor at western digital rebates named ean f and he said he didn't care if I posted bad publicity or not, they had an overwhelming response to this offer and I would have to wait. I am real tired of 8 weeks being 4 to 6 months, don't buy any noisy wd drives with short warranties and long rebates!!!!!!!

 Staples online rebate submission site rocks. I submitted my SAMSUNG 17 LCD Monitor ($50) on 8JAN and it was here on 3FEB. Wish Fryes/Seagate HDD rebates were as efficient. I mailed them out and the post office says that ther\y were signed for on the 24th. Their website reflects no status.
