I havent done too many rebates before and just had my first one rejected. eVGA sent me back a postcard notifying me the 30$ rebate on my 6800gt couldnt be honored due to the following reason(s): Missing original UPC, Missing Purchase Date, Missing Purchase Location, Missing reciept, invalid postmark date.

To resubmit this offer you must return this card and any validating information by 11/08.

I sent everything in the first time and can get the info to resubmit, but I no longer have an original UPC since I cut that off that box. Does anyone know what to do here or have experience?

Resubmit your photocopy. You did make a copy of your submission, right?

Just call them and tell them everything was in there and you don't appreciate being scammed. They'll fix it over the phone. Otherwise call your attorney general's office and file a complaint against the rebate company.

I've never had to actually resubmit anything even when I've gotten those cards. I just call them up and tell them they are wrong. Or if they insist, get an email address or fax number you can send it to.
