rebate question

if i have two rebates for the same item, and i have only one UPC on the package. The rebates both said they need the ORIGINAL UPC...so if i make a copy of the UPC and send it to one of the rebates, will i still receive my rebate check?

of course not

Thats not always the case, I have once received a rebate back and sent in a copy of the UPC while it specifically asked for the original. Most of the time this will not work, but once in a blue moon you could be lucky. I would send in the original for the largest rebate and a copy for the other, it just might work

wtf, then isn't it false advertisement if circuitcity say that if you buy this you get this this and this rebate back?

What you buy, like a laptop or something that has store rebate and manufacture rebate?
Usually when i get those one ask for the UPC and the other only a copy because you get a rebate receipt from the store with all the other info on it already like serial number etc.

yea i got a desktop. they pretty much all ask for the original UPC, i think one is for the computer itself, one for the printer, and one for the monitor :[
