Rebate question.

I'm filling out a rebate form for a FAX machine I purchased yesterday. The instructions say to circle the purchase price on the receipt. Is the purchase price the shelf price or what I paid after taxes?

I'm afraid if I circle the wrong number the rebate company won't honor the rebate because "I didn't follow the instructions."

This question may sound dumb, but I've never really thought about what the "purchase price" is.

On your sales receipt where it lists the item description and price, circle that line towards the top.

I ordered a few on Thursday before it hit most of the Hot Deals forums 🙂 when they were still in stock.
 
Interesting, how'd you know about it before it hit the forums? I guess it was first posted on thursday on fw so you must have ordered right then 😛
