On Friday after thanksgiving, the Fry's Electronics in Oregon in Wilsonville had a Maxtor 80GB 7200RPM drive and free 256MB PC133 RAM for $49.98 after: $129.98 upfront -$30 regular rebate - $50 one day only rebate.

this deal

They're two seprate rebates. Each one of it calls for original UPC code from the box. I inquired the cashier(Hoeppner, Jesse J as printed on the receipt) and he tells me I am to submit the two rebates together.

Well upon closer examination, the dept on these two rebates are different. The $50 rebate is addressed to:

Maxtor Rebates
02-52026
P.O. Box 028515
Miami, FL 33102-8515

The $30 rebate is addressed to:

Maxtor Rebates
02-51608
P.O. Box 028515
Miami, FL 33102-8515

What am I supposed to do?? It doesn't seem right to combine the two together, yet it's physically impossible to make two seprate submissions as I only have one original UPC.

Call Maxtor and ask if it is acceptable to submit the two rebates together, and if so how you should address the envelope.

If they say you have to send them separately, ask if you can submit a copy of the UPC with one of the rebates. If they say yes, get the name, badge number, and extension of the person you talk to. If they say no, try talking to their manager.
