Rebadged dvd-drives?

In case some of you dont know what I mean by a rebadged drive I mean how some Samsung drives were really pioneer parts under the samsung shell...
 
From what I have seen I think Aopen = Pioneer and Creative = Lite-On :Q. After discovering this, I will not touch another Lite-On DVD! 2 out of the 3 Lite-On DVD drives I used did not work properly. The third is too new to tell.
 
So aopen or liteon? I like how the liteon is black, but I hear they're loud? And I like how the aopen is slot load...
