last time I missed work was mid-November.

it was my 2nd to last day at my job, and the first time I had ever called out sick at that place. I was actually sick. no one believed me, but I swear, I could barely speak.

I took a vacation day to help my sister move.
In the next month, I'm taking 6 days off, one to be at California Speedway on the 2nd and the other to be at the LA convention center on the 12-14th.

In early December I took a few days off to visit my Brother in New Orleans.

Now I don't have any vacation days until next January! :disgust:

I missed work yesterday when I had to goto the emergency room. My uvula (the little thing that hangs from the back of your throat) had swelled to 5-6x the normal size when I woke up. The damm thing was swinging around inside my mouth and hanging halfway down my tongue. Couldn't talk, and could barely breathe. Went to the ER, got shots of antibiotics and steroids, then got sent home with more antibiotics and a bottle of tylenol 3 w/ codeine. Fun stuff. Sucks be to sick though.

So I get 3 days doctor mandated off for that, then friday I'm taking 3 days paid off to be at the funeral of my grandmother who died Sunday after a long battle with Alzheimers.

I also took two vacation days at the end of last week to goto a relatives 80th b-day party. So basically I'll have not worked for 11 days by the time I get back.

I haven't missed a full day of work in a few months. I'm usually at least 15 mins late getting in every day though.

The only reason I've missed work are because of work. Had to go apartment shopping for a relocation. Also took a day off because I worked three 14 hour days in a row.
