Reasonable x1950Pro 3DMark Scores?

Hey all,

Had my x1950Pro for a few months, but I finally ran 3DMark 06 for the first time last night. I got barely over 5000 total. Was wondering if my scores were O.K, or too low.

Here are my specs:

e6300 @2.1GHz
2GB DDR2 667MHz Ram
HIS 512MB x1950PRO AGP (605 Core/803 Mem)
Windows XP

I think you're OK as well. I was getting 4250 with a Sapphire 512MB Pro at 620 Core / 740 Memory / 1480 effective, using a A64 3700+, 2 GB DDR. Are you using an Asrock 4CoreDual-VSTA?

I think the score is highly affected by the CPU too, it looks like the scores are really higher with C2Ds and much lower with AMD Dual cores.

I got about 8,300 with 8800GTS Fatal1ty and X2 4200+ CPU, 2 gigs of OCZ 2-2-2-5. My video card scores were normal but my CPU score was abysmall, it added like 300 points to the total score, lol.

Here are my scores for my Sapphire Radeon x1950 Pro 512MB AGP:-

Athlon64 X2 4200 = 5189
Athlon64 3500 = 4367
Athlon XP 2500 = 3858

such a lovely card this is.
i just wish i had known a 8800GT is coming so soon, i would've waited.
guess i'll get whichever is the best midrange card next year or in 18 months, as im happily gaming with this one.
