Reasonable Upgrade from HD 5870?

I'm wondering if there is any card that is reasonably (lets say at least 20% increasein power) more powerful than 5870 that is around the 150 or so mark? I bought this card last BF for 150 and am wondering if there is a card worth upgrading to in this price range.

Thank you.

If you would like to get a decent upgrade (>50% performance increase), you need to get either HD7950 or Gtx660Ti (or 670) at least. I really don't think that 20% performance increase is good enough for you to invest money even at $150. If your budget is $150-200, you might be able to get a bargain for HD7950/Gtx660Ti next year after HD8000/Gtx700 series are released.

150$ might get you another used 5870 and this is definitely the best upgrade you can get for that price. That will give you a 70-100% increase in graphics power.
I play BF3 with a crossfire of 5870ies and reach constant 60fps in 64 player MP games.

OP sell your HD 5870 for 100 bucks. Spend another 200 bucks and grab a Gigabyte HD 7950 OC. overclock it to 1.1 Ghz and you will get twice the performance of the HD 5870 you currently have. now thats what I would call an upgrade. otherwise just wait for the HD 8850 to launch in Q1 2013. expected price 200 bucks. performance is expected to be close to GTX 670.

Stock vs stock 7850 is 5-25% faster than 5870. A stock 7850 is 5-15% faster than a 6950 which is greater than or equal to a 5870 (much faster where VRAM or Tess comes in). Once both are oced a 7850 is 20-40%+ faster than a oced 5870.

You want a 7950 or 5870 crossfire so sell 5870 OR get another 5870. I agree with Termie re:20% improvement not worth spending money on.
