"It's a simple question, Dr."

Reason or Emotion

Just curious...

For people who are asking:

"How do you think you think" ;)

My ideaology that I mustered up for human thought would say your choices are impossible and that all humans think with a mix of both. Emotions are what mix with reason and create what we call "rationalization."

How you believe you think is what I'm curious about, not actual neurological processes.

But one always affects the other, everyone thinks with a mixture of both.

Pick the one that you think dominates / is more influential.

This shouldn't be very hard, folks. :p

I have heard it two ways.

The greater the emotion the lower the reasoning.

The greater the estrogen the lesser the logic.

It is not a very good question.

Take buying a car, you do all the research on them, you come down to Honda vs Toyota, pluses and minuses on both sides, you pick the Honda because you like it better. Simple example but true, with every thought you use both to come up with a answer.

Another example 2+2= * now you give the answer as 4, is it because you reason it out, or you said 4 because you gave or heard the answer before and they said "good Job" and made you feel good about yourself and you want to do it again?

Reason and emotion will always go hand in hand. You can?t separate the two.

How is this, i am guessing most people will pick Reason, one reason for that will be, because it sounds smarter, and people want to feel smarter. So they pick the option that will make them feel better about themselves and their appearance to their peers.
