Reason for locked thread?

Earlier, there was a hot deal with PCToyz regarding an overclocked Duron 900 mhz processor for $39.99. This thread, and another regarding the same issue, was both locked with no explanation. Was there a reason for that? I'm just curious.

Not really...all that was indicated was that PCToyz was an reincarnation of Overclockerz, a POS company.

In any event, I'm really worried now, cos I ordered a chip, but I called to cancel my order when I read all the threads. It's gonna suck if I have to talk to my CC company and go through the process of cancelling that transaction...all for $50 lol.
