and the other halp sasying prove they weren`t...

That just goes to prove my point about the age levels of those who post the 9/11 Conspiracy stuff......

The sad thing if we are to believe the OP.....he doesn`t see whats wrong with that posts....

No what is sad and pathetic is insulting others for having thoughts and ideas on a situation that do not agree with yours, and continually trying to police a public/private place because of it. The threads are locked and should be locked because they are reposts; notice there is still one open where people are allowed to discuss the matter. If you do not like it, then do not click on it, simple as that. The Mods will decide what stays and what goes and they seem to not need any help from you as things are fine as they are.

That being said I think the 9/11 conspiracy threads should be locked also, but JEDI I do not mean to insult you by any means but to put it bluntly I have grown tired of your contant complaints about them, and then trying to rub it in the believers faces by making a post about how wonderful it is that another one was locked.

I am sorry if I offended you in any way, and I do hope I do not come off as a grouch. Have a nice night mate! 🙂

I`m still tired of all the dribble from 9/11 threads...

But again as usual you get totally off the topic at hand....which was this persons post....

It'd be nice if *all* the conspiracy threads were locked... The one that pops up every once and a while that bugs me even more is "the moon landing conspiracy." All these threads do is spread mis-information to people not knowledgeable enough to see the inconsistencies or to understand the actual reasons for certain "facts."

I do not care about that thread, I do not believe there is any truth inside it, but you could become even wiser and realize that noone knows the truth about everything. Perfection is not human.
Maybe in the '60s you would have said the same about a thread about a CIA-Pentagon-FBI conspiracy to kill JFK, MLK, RFK.
Or you would have asked the mods to ban people saying the gulf of Tonkin was a US conspiracy.
Human history if full of conspiracies. You cannot deny that. If you do you should spend a lot of time in a library. Read Machiavelli, and a book about Cesare Borgia aka The Prince, who is a hero/role-model of many powerful men...think about that a lot!
In a democracy everything should be debated in the open without censorship, unless you want sects and divisions to develop to the point of no return. Or you favor fascism and the authoritarian listing of what is true and what is not, and the enforcement of limits to free speech based on that perfect list.

No, all conspiracy threads shouldn't be locked. Some evolve into intelligent threads. Some are just trolling, and those are the ones that should be, and usually are, locked.

Dont buy into that crap...i am an engineer and architect and I can tell you that is taken totally out of context...

If that argument held true then why do we fireproof steel now??? If an open flame would never get hot enough then why bother?? there would never be a fear of structural collaspe...Could it be??? Yes...Utter crap...Actual fires that flash can reach temperatures much higher then 1800f...Totally false statement listed above...All Steel structures are required to be coated with fireproofing to specified depths of 2" minimum...

Steel may melt or become semi liquid at that state, but steel will deform or reach the point of elasticity well before that...The moment it begins to deform the beam sags under the load eventually reaching a point where the tension on the bottom chord of the web truss (what was used at the towers ) failed....

There is a great BBC doumentary on this that goes into depth....They scoured the junkyards where all the debris went and look at thousands of pieces of steel and found evidence that support intense heat and deformation...They would have found evidence of steel had it been cut with demolition style shape charges...

The intial plane striking and exploding actually blew off what little fireproof was on the steel....Open web truss beams are by far the hardest to coat properly. The stuff has the consistency of oatmeal but needs to clump a bit to get more to stick...The tower that remained the longest was the first to be hit but had just recently had reapplication of fireproofing done after they noticed some beams were dangerously exposed...



Just dont buy into this crap....

Sheen is an idiot and most conspiracy nuts are that NUTS....
