For the most part, I dislike FWD, exept on Volvo Turbos where it just rox. Heres the Jack Dealio
AWD: Easy to drive very fast, entry speed into corners is not a big deal, just brake, hammer after the apex, same thing for dragging, just floor it and go (or as much throttle as you can stand

) On newer designs, weight is not a very big deal. Tends to stifle some of the fun.
RWD: Hard to drive. Launches can be difficult if the car has ample power. Entry speed into a corner is everything, not much room for error. Oversteer! (Unless it has lamely been dialed out ie BMW 3s) When its starts to rain you have even more trouble.
FWD: In most cases it doesnt work all that well performance wise. The greatest exeption is the Mini Cooper! Feel like it has AWD, but still oversteers like mad, fun fun fun fun fun. My Metro Turbo mini will eat a Corvette Z06 for lunch on many road coarses.
My current drive is a TVR Tuscan. RWD, super light, super powerful. Its damn hard to drive super fast, but is it ever fun. Cheaper than a corvette, way faster, way prettier

lame american cars! If happen to have seen the movie swordfish, i belive a Tuscan was featured
