Rear Speakers

Hi, ive got my new Audigy 2 ZS installed and my 5.1 speaker system all plugged in (and into the correct plugs). However i find that the two rear speakers are really quiet compared to the others. Is it supposed to be like this? I never found a seperate volume control for them. How can i make them louder?

Go to EAX Console and then CMSS 3D and change it from CMSS to Stereo Surround.

CMSS sucks ass, it is by far the worst thing to use to get surround in music. Stereo surrond fix you up, note it will double the bass output.

Ok, ive found that. The rear speakers still seem a LOT weaker compared to the front ones.

They should be equal using stereo surrond. You havnt told us what speakers you are using.

A lot of things would depend on the volume...How far are the rear Spaks fron your ear compared to the front?
The Altecs DB range maybe less then 80 so the echo effect isn't that noticable.
The Sub maybe making it more noticeable
The signal maybe weaker with longer wires etc...
