I hate to ask a stupid question, but I'm so good at it I guess I will anyways.

I bought a case from a guy on ebay. All cases I've bought in the past came with changable plates that fit on the back. This is the bezel that the keyboard, serial ports, usb, sound, lan, etc connect through (sorry I don't know what it's actually called). Unfortunately this case only came with the installed one, although it is removeable. As my ever existing luck would have it-my MB (FIC VI13) connections do not fit the template.

My question is this: can I purchase just that plate somewhere? I have no idea where to begin, especially since I don't even know what this thing is called. It's just a cheap no-name case, which is what my budget allowed (OK, more accurately what my wife would allow). Can anyone help point me in the right direction?

Thanks much

I think its called a i/o shield.

You say its removable, right? When i bought my abit MB, it came with a i/o shield. I took the one out that came installed with chieftec case i bought and put the abit one in. my chieftec case only came with one that didn't fit the abit's ports. Your motherboard didn't come with one? I would contect FIC maybe and see if they sell them as i know you can buy replacements for abit.

I hope this is what you are talking about.
