Hello,

I have an ASRock X 370 AMD Taichi Ryzen motherboard. I am using the default Realtek audio for my 5.1 logitech surround speakers. I hooked up the speakers to the motherboard audio out and everything works fine except the right front speaker will not play any audio. I made sure the speaker was working by trading the cable with the left speaker jack and both speakers are working.

Is there something with Realtek / windows 10 settings that I am missing to get my right front speaker working.

Thank you!

It is interesting (coincidental?) that on my various equipments (VCR, TVs, etc.) the left channel is "mono".

A possibility is that some check box somewhere in your system is specifying mono setting versus stereo, so I'd probe around in the various sound system settings. (These include the OS itself which includes mixer and control panel sound settings, Realtek sound application software and sometimes other installed applications (such as a media player) can overlay on top of the sound system. If there are volume/level sliders (which is typical), then ensure right channel output is properly adjusted.

Also, dirty or defective/flakey stereo jacks are notorious for resulting in singe channel only output. You might want to jiggle the audio output jack/connector (as well as insert & remove it quickly/briskly several times) to listen for re-connection (perhaps only temporary) of right channel sound. Usually I spray a touch of DEOXIT before I do this with my equipments.

Good luck.

I've gone into most of the settings I can find in the control panel and the real tech software... I still have no right front speak (right rear works, all others work in my 5.1) I'll try the deoxit unless someone knows of any other suggestions?
