Realtek audio quality with Shuttle?

I'm about to buy the shuttle SB61G2 which comes with onboard Realtek ALC650 six channel audio. I currently have an Audigy but would like to get rid of it if the Realtek audio is decent. I use headphones when I game so multiple channels is not super important to me. Does Realtek support EAX? What do you guys think?
