Article Realtek 5Gbps switch article - AT front page

I saw this article on the AT front page. Looks like some promising development. Hopefully additional products are developed, pushing down the cost of this, and existing 2.5Gbps switches. I recently picked up a switch from Amazon with 5 2.5Gbps ports, and 2 10Gbps SFP+ ports, all for about $40. I hope good network gear can continue to come down in price.

10 gbe rj45 switches / semi-managed should be coming down in price soon?

8 port 10 gbe / rj45 currently about $250 from 3rd party vendors....

I been watching these kinds of switches come down in price, but from vendors without much history. And maybe security issues? Not tested yet to find out.
