Hi, I have a Gigabyte Gaming GT Z97 motherboard. It has Reltek 1150 and also includes Creative SB X-F softwarei with EAX 5.0. My friend is selling has Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi 7.1 24 bit sound card for $30. Will I notice the difference with a dedicated sound card? I use a Rizer Tiamat 7.1 headphones (which I really like). Thanks.

Not really worth it. That card is older tech, and the Realtec 1150 is more than adequate for your headphones.

"Including 7.1 CH HD audio with Realtek ALC1150 audio codec, 115dB SNR DAC with Differential Amplifier, TI® 5532 Premium Headset Amplifier which supports up to 600 ohm headphones, cap less Direct Drive technology, EMI shielding cover, PCB isolate shielding and support for DTS Connect."
