Hi everyone
I'm in serious need of help from anyone who could give any tips with this. I have installed a new system at work:
Case: Antec Overture Piano Black II
Memory: 2 x Buffalo 512Mb DDR
HD: S-ATA 160Gb Samsung
MB: ASROCK AR-K8UP-VM800, S754 K8M800, MATX, VGA, AUDIO, S-ATA
and some S3 IGP
now, I'm trying to install Telewell TW-IA300C ADSL-card on the system. Windows detects it, I can install the drivers (on some cases) but when it starts finishing and configuring the installation and the device, the whole system freezes. After few seconds the screen goes black and after that the classical blue screen of death comes up with this error every time:
MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION
STOP 0x0000009C
after reboot it goes back to Windows, finds the ADSL-card again but if I try to click Start or open any menu or explorer, it freezes in the same way... seems like it happens whenever HD's are accessed(?) I read posts about this but none of them really helped. The system is not overclocked
What could be the problem? I have installed the latest drivers, tried other PCI slots, taken every extra card out of the system... help?
