Really weird dual-monitor problem...one monitor goes to grayscale?

Alright, I got everything all set up the way it should be for dual monitors, but I'm having a weird problem. I'm running Win2K Pro SP3 with a GeForce2 GTS-V as my primary display adapter and an Nvidia Riva 128 as my secondary adapter. I know that both cards are functioning properly, and I know that both monitors are functioning properly. When I boot up, Windows goes to the login screen, and everything seems fine. There is a display on both monitors, and everything looks the way it should. However, when I enter my password and log into Windows, things get a little weird. My primary display stays the way it should, while my secondary display suddenly changes to grayscale. This only happens after everything has finished loading. While all my startup programs are being loaded, everything looks fine on the second monitor, and it is running 32-bit color. Because the color changes after all of my programs have loaded, I believe that this is some weird software issue that is happening with something that automatically runs when I login. Both monitors are set to 32-bit color at 1024x768. The primary monitor is running at 75Hz, while the secondary is running at 60Hz. I've tried changing video drivers on the secondary adapter, and the problem persists. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi J3anyus, I don't have a solution for you but maybe you can check out these forums and get some help if nobody can help you out here. It's a site that sells dual monitor software and offers alot of info too.

Good luck

Edit: Maybe for the hell of it try installing Powerstrip to see if you can tweak some of the settings that way.
