We have WM here in St. Clair Shores. Never had an issue on my street, though I guess some other parts of town have had problems with them spilling trash on the street and not cleaning it up.

If you don't get satisfaction directly calling them, definitely shoot a letter/e-mail/phone call to city council.

Never heard of using WM for residential unless it's for a one time thing like doing major renovations where you need one of those huge dumpsters. Doesn't the city pick it up? That's why you pay taxes.

We are the largest residential collector in the country. Most cities do not have city pick-up, they contract out to private companies.
