Everyone argues and complains on these boards... but thru all these arguments, does anyone's opinion ever change? Or do we just log on, state our silly opinions, and log off? I mean, have you ever looked over someone's arguement on AT and thought to yourself, "that guy/girl really has a point there!"? I think everyone likes ranting too much to do this! heh heh 😎

My opinions have been affected. I mean, even if my OPINION isn't changed, I can usually glean some important information on any given topic. Information is the most important thing in making a decision.

Yeah, they do change.

Maybe not on topics like religion. But there are certainly many learning experiences going on all the time.

Most people, when presented facts that prove their opinion to be wrong, will gladly change it.

Congrats pyonir!

Well.... I'm a Golden Member now 😛 I've made about 600 posts in the last week to get here, though 😉 Most of them weren't nefs and were parts of actual conversation - LOTS of conversation

I certainly have.
I have actually learned quite a bit here by 'listening' to people and reading links that they provided,
(And I knew everything when I joined!)

At least one of us has learned something useful on ATOT.... RIGHT! 😛

I must say though, learning can be different than a mere change of opinion... Aparently som person wants to know how to fry a chicken, and that definitely will change... But I am wondering if anyone's opinion changes on the important stuff, such as the aformentioned religion threads. I mean, maybe you didn't change your religion necessarily (or maybe you did!), but it must lead to more open mindedness, right? Or are the flamewars just for the sake of flmaewars? heh heh
