I'm not in it, but I think they are racing for prizes and that is the name they came up with. Insidious (spelling?) could tell you more.

I'm not involved in the DF project, but I think it stands for AnandTech White Elephant race; try contacting Insidious for more info or just do a Search.

Check our DF daily and you will see all the members of the ATWE DF team that are in the race!

it is a competition to try and recruit new members

we are in a VERY tight race (that we have pretty much lost ) with Rechenkraft.net and desperately need more people/boxen on this project

if you are at a comfortable place with your SETI stats, feel free to put 1-2 PC onto DF and try it out if you want to
