Really slow performance in UEFI

Just upgraded from an i5 6600K & AsRock Z170 to Ryzen 3700X & MSI 450B Tomahawk. Really good so far! For some reason the UEFI is ridiculously slow. Moving the mouse or keyboard input usually takes 3-4 seconds for it to update. Has anyone experienced this before or know what could cause it?

Appreciate any help!

The next bios update should fix it. At least it did for me, when I had that same issue with my first Ryzen build. It was the first gen and the boards were still shipping with OG bios. It took a long time to post before the update too. If there is another fix, someone here will clue us in. But for now waiting for MSI to release an update is all I got for you.

Thanks for the reply. I'll keep an eye out for more of the BIOS updates. And I'll also play around and unplug USBs and stuff to see if that helps (long day so didn't want to do it straight away).

That is a good idea. Hope you get it sorted sooner rather than later.
