Ferrari in Pole Position - some people should never be allowed a driver's license... Particularly those with no concept of the value of a dollar... I'd be far too apprehensive to drive a car worth anywhere near that much on the open road.

Oh, and thanks to MajorGeeks.com where I found the link - for some links to weird, strange and fun stuff, check their "Way Off Base" section at least daily.

Considering the car is rear engine and all that is in front is mostly trunk space, that car did very well against the pole.
Sorry to say, poles, trees & concrete wins out every time. At least nobody got killed.

I still think the Eddie Griffin Enzo crash still takes the cake for sheer stupidity.

Hey thomsbrain,

Aussies drive on the left side of the road, driver is in the right hand front seat - so a few inches to the LEFT kills the driver who deserved a nomination for the Darwin Award if he hadn/t survived. To the RIGHT gets the passenger who may be blameless...

No respect. If he wasn't driving like a moron he would've made it easily.

Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and nuclear warfare.

So, horseshoes and anything that goes boom, basically?

"The Stobie split the car in two and it's basically up where the gear stick should be,"

There never was a gear stick in that car if it had the F1 transmission. Just nit picking though.

Sad to see a great car like that destroyed.
