Really Random: ANy florist suggestions for West Lafayette Purdue area?

Look ing to send some flowers from a local florist. Don't want to use a website or random 800 number.

Anyone know of any in the area?

Search your local independent newspapers' archives for a "Best of" article in your town. That's how I found a florist to deliver to my g/f in Colorado Springs. Found Gentry's which got rated #1 in the city for the past 8 years.

When I was there (1997-2001) I remember that there was a florist near the McDonald's on Northwestern Ave and Stadium Ave. If I remember correctly, it's either behind the Burger King or the University Bookstore there.
