I just put in a new secondary hard drive for some extra storage, and am formatting it using Disk Management now. It asks me what letter I want to assign it and the volume name etc. But now it asks me if I want to "Enable file and folder compression." Is it better to have this enabled or disabled? And why? Thanks 😛
 
AFAIK, I've never enabled compression. I was told a long time ago that it might cause problems with recovering files that have been compressed, so to this day, I don't use that feature.
