Really quick question...

I recorded an episode of my favorite TV show, but I was going back, editing the ads out. When I use Windows Movie Maker, and move the frames down into the storyline, a horrible "buzzing" noise starts. It doesn't happen any other time--just when it's on the storyboard. Any ideas?

I would make the switch to Adobe Premier for video editing, its a lot more stable and will be able to cut down the processing time down.

Thank you for the advice--I really need this tomorrow though...any quick suggestions? I just don't get it--I can play the video in WMM and it works fine...but the second I go to the storyboard, it begins the buzzing.

I had a similar problem when I would have Photoshop 7.0, MS Paint and WinAmp open at the same time, when applying a filter or saving something, often my music would cut out and a loud horrible buzzing would take over my audio controller and wouldn't stop until I restarted.

Never did figure out what that was...

I've had that problem when using video games and voice chat software. The problem I had is that either my game or my voice chat software didn't want to give up control of the sound card. I would try running the process with almost no other programs running.
