I'm sticking in a 1.4 GHz T-Bird into a brand new motherboard. Do I need to set a clock multiplier or should I just leave it on "auto" (default)?

If you just want it at 1400, just remember to set the 100/133 fsb to 133.

Auto will work just fine to get you to 1400 after that.

Other wise you will get 1050.

10.5 x 100 = 1050

10.5 x 133 = 1396 (1400)

Thanks. Just put it together...up and running. It's my first time, and this is just an amazing feeling. :)
