i need some really, really, long thumbscrews. Here's the deal, i purchased a Voodoo3 3500 from another trader here on the forums. As you probably know, this card has a big 'pod' breakout box, which is situated between the card itself, and the monitor cable, using big huge cables. Well, this cable gets attached to the back of the card with a booted connector, and attached with two absolutely HUGE threaded thumbscrews. Anyways, i suppose that the originals have been stressed over the time the other trader owned the card, and i snapped one of the thumbscrews in two, right where the theading begins.

Long story short, does anyone know of an online store where i can get honkin' huge long thumbscrews? These bastards are good 3" long or so, bigger than a standard printer cable thumbscrew or whatnot...

Unfortunately, it's 3DFX, and they are no longer a going business concern...
 
Yea...Yellow pages..hardware/screws/fasteners.
Go buy a thread pitch guage at a local hardware and see what size they are so you sound reasonable to the fastener supplier.
 
any place that sells cables/adapters and whatnot should have one or something that will work. find someone that still sells that card or anything else by 3dfx and they probably will sell cables and stuff. hope that helps.
