Really Now... Why don't we have any NForce4 reviews on the ASUS Board yet...?

NF4 MB's (Asus, etc) are starting to show up at vendors on the net yet no reviews? C'mon... What's going on here??? Anand said they had the board weeks ago... I'd assume Tom has too...

What can be taking so long?

They at least "show pics" and you can preorder... The point is that the tech sites have had hardware in their hands for weeks and I'm wondering what all the foot-dragging is all about...

I wish they would too. Im upgrading this hunk of junk as soon as they come out so I can future proof myself with PCI-E and probably SLI.

More days gone by and still no reviews from "quality" sites like AT, THG, or HardOCP?

This is just weird... It's almost as if the manufacturer's and the review sites are "hiding" the fact that there's new hardware around the corner... You would think that the review sites would be eager to be the first to press with the article... All indications are that they've had the board for about 1 month in the case of the ASUS offering...

They are probably waiting for the final WHQL nforce drivers from NV.

Or waiting for some nondisclosure agreement with Asus to expire.

Professional websites like AT can't afford to violate a legal contract just to get the word out early. Legal fees can be immense, look at the HardOCP vs. Infinium ("Phantom" vaporware) battle.

The professional sites might also be waiting to get boards they can actually test themselves as opposed to publishing pre-generated results from the Asus marketing department.

Thanks for all the input guys but it just seems a bit "different" this time... For example... AT had an ASUS board quite a while ago (even before the Gigabyte board... But then no review on this board (I doubt NDA related)...

Perhaps there's something wrong with the board?
