ok, my Pro2A is being, for lack of a better word, odd. i tried to overclock my Duron 600(factory unlocked) and it would post at 700 if i did 6.5x108, but not if i did 7x100. that was at 1.7V. right now i have it running at 690mhz, 1.57V, but MBM5 is reporting the voltage to be 1.46. i have three questions:
1. does it look like this Duron is going to be a good overclocker? it is doing 690 at 1.46V, but so far the farthest with my Pro2A i have gotten it was 818(using the Overclocking BIOS which gives me the 1.85V option)
2. why is it that the motherboard doesn't like the multipliers? i think i can get more out of this chip, but not if my board is acting like this 😕
3. if i want the 1.85V without the overclocking BIOS, all i have to do is close all of the L7 bridges, right? then go to the BIOS and set voltage as Default?
thanks 🙂
