I loved 2 and especially 3. Either because of burnout or because it was nothing more than an expansion of 3, I didn't stick with 4 very long. It was just...bizarre. Same exact game world and ham-fisted normal mechanics that are really just god-mode console type commands really killed it for me. I do have Gat out of Hell but never played it.

I think it needs to dial back the bizarre a bit, have some kind of reboot and start off as a Street Gang again.

to me 2 and 3 were epic.
Especially with friends in coop.
Nothing is more fun then having your pal drive while ur gatting the police, or having your friend on the road, and ur in a gunship heli following.

4 i didnt like so much.
The super powers killed it.
The coop isnt as much coop, its more like running building to building with super power and following.

4th was epic .. loved the DLC too. Loved the turn it took and just went 100% bananas.. The super powers allows you to traverse an epic huge map, open world like nothing before, it is fantastic.

Problem is though, how are you gonna step it up from there?

I have tried many times getting into GTA5.. it just manages to bore me after an hour or so.

SR4 was a blast from the get-go... and the humor, that scene driving with those two idiots singing paula abdul-something.. holy crap i was flat on the floor LMAO
