Really low framerates in MOH, and others

I just got a Geforce 3 yesterday and was hoping to play MOH with some decent framrates, I had a Voodoo 3 before, but the framerates with the GF3 seem even worse than they were with the V3. I left the game at the default settings, 800x600 with everything else at max, and the game barely gets 30fps. Most of the time it is in the twenties and when some action is on screen it drops to single digits. The game is unplayable and I can't figure out why. I've tried a few different drivers and it's the same with all of them. I shouldn't have to run at 640x480 to get a playable framerate with my system, should I? RTCW and SOF2 also have pretty low framerates, though not to the same extent of MOH, while Serious Sam 2nd Encounter averages over 80fps at 1024x768 with all settings to max. GTA3 also plays just fine at 1024x768, anyone know whats wrong?

Go to display properties then to setting tab then to advanced button then to Gefouce 3 tab then press the additional properties button and make sure your FSAA is turned off.
Hope this helps. with my old geforce 3 I ran all those games at killer FPS. also make sure to update your drivers.

Oh I just saw that you only have 128megs of ram, get some more.

Yeah, I know I need more ram but that shouldn't be the reason for the low framerates. FSAA is turned off, all the display properties are at their default. I've tried a few different drivers and have had the same result with all of them.
