Since I put together this PC about 2 years ago, I never thought to bother with running 3Dmark on my system before. Most games run well enough, so I never had any reason to. I decided to run it today, and I ended up getting a much lower score than I expected. It's lower (by a large margin) than many other scores I've seen from people with lower end hardware.
The score I got was 4528, and here are my specs:
Antec TRUEPOWERII TPII-430 ATX12V 2.01 430W Power Supply
NVIDIA GeForce 7950 GT 512 mb
AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3800+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.4GHz
SB X-Fi Audio [A000] (Xtrememusic)
2048MB RAM
One thing to mention, too, is that during the CPU tests I got 0 FPS the entire time. I don't know if that's normal or not.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be causing this? I'm thinking there's a bottleneck somewhere. Or am I just way off and this score is normal for a system like mine?
Thanks, I'd really appreciate any help.
