I've purchased 2 used Dell Precision 450s with dual 2.8 GHZ Xeon processors and 2 GBs of RAM off fleabay. I'd really like to replace my daily pc which is a P4 2.8 GHZ BM Thinkcentre with one of the Precisions.
But I've noticed that the Precisions are really loud once they're up and running. I guess it's the fan on them. My Thinkcentre on the other hand is very silent, which I love.
Just curious if all Precision with these specs are this loud, or if there's a known issue/fix, etc. Thanks in advance.
