Really high Delta on E4300 under load

During TAT stress testing or Orthos, my CPU temps are jumping 30 degrees. It idles at around 30 C, and when put through those stress testing programs Coretemp will jump to 60 C. I've read that a properly working setup will have Deltas of 25 C or less, so this appears to be pretty badly out of whack.

My specs are in my sig, I'm cooling with an Artic Freezer Pro 7. Currently I'm at stock voltage running at 3.0 GHZ. I've lapped the processor and am very certain the HSF assembly is tight (I had the mobo out of the case when putting it in) So how come my temps rise so much under load?

If your delta is that high, it's because you don't have enough cooling, obviously. To be able to run @ 3-3.2 Gghz with that heatsink, you need to have alot of case airflow. Of course, most people don't consider 60C core temps too high for a Conroe. I wouldn't personally let it get any hotter than that, though (well, not much). But then again, I am pretty anal about temps.
