Really good video editing software?

If you're looking at "really powerful" software that's going to cost several thousand dollars, why aren't you willing to buy another computer that doesn't neccesarily run XP?

Aside from Adobe, I've been using the PINNACLE products for quick projects.

My other option is a mac My sister has one with final cut pro on it. Thast my other option I am not looking for anything that is 1000+ around 700 is what I am looking for
