I found a place at CPUtester.com that sells a bunch of different OC kits for way better prices than Proton, Azzo, Outside, and one other I cant remember. Anyway I bought a kit from them and I'm happy with it so I just wanted to post about it. Here are some of their prices (BTW, they offer free shipping on all products).

P3 700 @ 933 CB0 SECC2 and P3V4X: $450.00
P3 700 @ 933 CB0 SECC2 Kit: $330.00
Duron 700@950 and KT7: $360.00
Duron 700@1000 and KT7: $385.00

I got the duron 700@1000 and so far its been running stable as hell.

Cheers,

uhhhhh, sorry dude, those prices suck! $220 for a Celeron 566 at 850? I DON'T THINK SO!

Looks like some a college student put a site together to sell all of his old computer hardware. Look at all the "Like New" stuff in the specials section.

Holy crap!!!!!!! $220 for a Celeron 566 at 850? It's just f**king ridiculous. How much did you pay for your duron 700@1000? Or are you just advertising here? I gotta ask because I don't wanna waste my time going to that site to find out.

This should be posted in the trade section of this board. It certainly is no hot deal.

how can you call those prices bad? i mean check out the prices at their competitors:

they sell a p3 700 @ 933 with an alpha fan for 380.00. at azzo they want 460 for a duron 600 @ 900 with a kt7-raid and 128 cas3 pc133. the ones at outside loop only have durons at 900 and they charge 345.00. none of them offer free shipping either. i dont think you guys really know what you are talking about. especially the guy who said you can get 700@933 pretested kits in the mid 100$ range. If you want to buy all these parts from pricewatch well go ahead. I placed an order from pc-beyond.com and those idiots never even shipped it. id rather pay a few dollars more and know what im going to get instead of having to worry about ever recieving orders at all like on pricewatch merchants.

tbone2k,

<< first off i dont trust you, second i dont want your used crap >>

I think you are missing the point. Let me explain:

1. With that attitude, you and your site won't get any business from here.
2. Most of these posts point out the fact that you (and you haven't denied it) are using the hot deals board to advertise for your site. This is specifically not allowed @ anandtech (read the user agreement, it was there when you registered).
3. You are being flamed for your prices because you have stepped into the arena with hard core pipe hitting hot deal seekers who know every trick there is to sqeezing out hot deals and are out of your league.

Try selling your stuff over in the for sale forum and this time, represent yourself as the seller. You may even sell some stuff. Good luck.

tbone2k, you're a fool! These prices are freezing. I'd rather take a number and get my duron from ocz.com for 109, 600 @ 950 and abit kt7 RAIT from microbarn for 153 and alpha pal at 2cooltek for 20. As for your order from pcbeyond.com, that just proves how much of an idiot you are. You ordered from a company that has ONE rating on resellerratings.com and it's not even a good rating... please lock this mod

tbone2k's deals are probably the worst deals I've seen on this forum in a while for OC kits. Pretty pathetic.

I'm also confused about this comparison.

<< they sell a p3 700 @ 933 with an alpha fan for 380.00. at azzo they want 460 for a duron 600 @ 900 with a kt7-raid and 128 cas3 pc133. >>

So what's the comparison? The first, you get a processor and fan. The second, you get a processor (albeit slower), fan, motherboard and RAM. What's the better deal? Hell, I don't know, depends on what you want...

Garbage prices. Stop plugging your own company. It is so obvious when people do this. Its pathetic!

There isn't a hot deal anywhere on that site.

Let's just assume he's being sarcastic and wants us to NOT order from there. With that mindset, we can all just think of CPUtester.com as a place where we bargain shoppers do not want to go.
